Pierre-Auguste Renoir #9

Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s house , Essoyes, France (Espace Renoir Essoyes).

"The house where Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir lived during the summer months (from 1896-1919) in Essoyes, the Aube, France, will open its doors to the public in June 2017 after a two-year renovation.

The home, which belonged to Renoir, his wife Aline and three children, (Pierre, Jean and Claude) was sold by the artist’s granddaughter Emily to the town of Essoyes a few years ago, and it will reopen as an addition to the atelier he built at the bottom of his garden."
